Misery Lake Project
The Misery Lake project is associated with a six-km diameter magnetic anomaly, 120 km south of Strange Lake. Reconnaissance work in 2007 returned bedrock samples containing 27% FeO, 1.2% P2O5, 1.5% TiO2 and 2.25% TREO. Airborne survey completed this spring identified target as concentrically layered body. Early sampling returned 6.7% TREO, 0.68% Y2O3, 4.9% P2O5, 1.2% TiO2, on coincident Mag-Radiometrics. Body is chemically zoned, from ultramafic periphery to granitic core.
